Evolution Of Cloud Computing,A summary.

How did Cloud Computing evolve??

After the need was felt for huge computing power the IT development moved towards building PARALLEL COMPUTING (click) where one job is divided and send to nodes, next came CLUSTER COMPUTING(click) where the computers together used the resources and did the job faster and efficiently. After grid computing was developed the need was felt for a model where the user will just have to worry about the job to be done. The hardware for data storage,Platform for computing and services would be provided by other vendors. This model is called Cloud computing.

Professional Productivity?? Go Cloud.

Can Cloud Computing help
increase the Productivity of a Professional ??

Think Cloud.Think Productivity

1>> Firstly from my understanding Cloud Computing enhances MOBILITY and extends a ‘Work from Anywhere’ environment for a  professional on the go.

For example:  it so happened that when hurricane Irene struck the US many companies
based in the affected areas were able to keep their business running  because the other branches elsewhere were able to access the data which was there on their Clouds and thus the productivity of the companies was sustained.

2>>Secondly,if the data is always accessible along with the applications to do the job a professional can work say while travelling or as and when preferred instead of sticking
to a 9 to 5 schedule.

3>>To tap this ever increasing demand from professionals for increasing their productivity using the power of Cloud Computing, many companies are launching applications which can help the workforce in need of such products.

For Example: WEBINSPIRATION Pro(Click here) is such a software which helps users to  easily collaborate for Brainstorming sessions and organising visual though process involved during a brainstorming session .

Cloud Musings : CLOUD??! What IS it??

CLOUD??
What IS Cloud Computing??

Cloud Computing which is being perceived as the next big revolution towards computing services uses the basic fact that today’s technology allows us to :

#Store large amounts of data at very cheap rates
#We can access data at increasingly faster rates.
It allows us to simply “USE” the services, applications etc as and when required instead of buying or storing them.Cloud computing aims to increase personal, business and professional productivity.

Cloud Musings :Basics Of Service Models

SERVICE MODELS OF CLOUD COMPUTING:

# The realization that apart from software all other IT products can also be extended to the user as a service led to the full scale growth of cloud industry.

# There are three types of service models namely Iaas,Paas and Saas.
These models can be efficiently used for the Hardware platform that has been extended as service as well as  the Hardware software model that has been extended as a service  for the customer.

#We need to understand that for the WEB to be used as SERVICE it needs an ARCHITECHTURE.So for cloud computing SERVICE ORIENTED ARCHITECHTURE is used.

#The Quality Of Service is a technological and customer care evaluation model and various Service Level Agreements are there to regulate the service.

#Multi tenancy is one of the most important technological aspects of cloud computing where single instance of software can run on multiple machines using a single server.
